Divine Mother Rama Devi

She came as a Mother.

Born in Mangaluru in 1911, Sree Rama Devi revealed an extraordinary inner life from Her earliest years. At three, She consoled Her grieving mother with words of timeless wisdom. At nine, standing before the Goddess Meenakshi at Madurai, She was lifted into a vision that revealed Her own true nature.

She married at fourteen and lived the full life of a householder. Behind Her daily duties lay twelve years of hidden sadhana, culminating in sixty unbroken hours of the deepest meditative absorption. She emerged as Teacher, Mother and guide, showing that the Divine is found not by leaving the world, but by transforming how we live within it.

Seekers came from every walk of life, and under Her guidance Rama Śakti Mission was established in 1964.

Divine Mother Tara Devi

She became a Mother.

Born on 20 July 1930 in Mangaluru, in the same family as Her Guru, Sree Tara Devi revealed Her spiritual greatness from childhood. At thirteen, by a mere touch of Sree Rama Devi, She rose through the deepest states of meditation and attained the summit of realization.

When Sree Rama Devi left Her physical form in 1978, devotees witnessed something extraordinary. Her voice, Her bearing, even Her features appeared anew in Sree Tara Devi. In a ministry of just two and a half years, She firmly established Shaktinagar and the Mission, accomplishing what devotees say would normally take a century.

A Day at the Mission

Every day, a rhythm of sadhana.

The Mission moves to an unhurried rhythm of prayer, silence and service.
You are welcome to move with it, whatever your background, wherever you are from.

Morning

6:00 – 7:00 AM
