    Sayings for Today

Your vow of brahmacharia is to achieve the supreme Goal. Remaining unmarried is only a negative aspect. Restraining the sex impulse is only a step in the ladder of brahmacharia. Brahmacharia, as a spiritual discipline in the broadest sense of the term, is the perfect restraint of all senses, the complete mastery over mental activity. Positively, it is constant identification with your essential nature, the self luminous, non-dual Self. Brahmacharia is the consummate ideal of triple purity, unbroken celibacy, the sine-qua-non for the highest realization.

Providence has shaped circumstances for you and your wife favourable for sadhana. You are spared many of the cares and anxieties of life. It is up to you to utilize the time at your disposal and realize as much as you may, the joy of inward communion. Meditation alone will give the needed poise for inward peace.

In Bhagavad Gita, Sree Krishna makes a reference to four types of devotees who worship Him – the afflicted, the seeker, the lover of wealth and the knower. All these four distinct characteristics, capable of interpretation from the point of view of spiritual competence, are harmonized in a genuine aspirant of spiritual perfection.

Spirituality is deliverance from mortality. It promotes self-culture, brings about freedom from sensuality and leads to the attainment of supreme peace. In the highest spiritual experience, the sense of limited personality disappears into the consciousness of the absolute.

DIVINE MOTHER SAYS NO. 12
The precious treasure of spirituality is your birthright. Win this through vigilant aspiration and ceaseless endeavours resigned to the Supreme. The goal of all endeavours is peace. Peace abides only in the eternal. Bid farewell to the pursuit of vanities and transiences. Adjust your approach to life from an enlightened outlook.

Hope you are finding time and opportunity for systematic sadhana in the midst of other occupations. Mastery over self comes through power of intense aspiration and adherence to spiritual practices. It will be futile to lean on a miraculous descent of grace if you ignore these two aspects. For Mother’s children, initiated into the way of higher life and blessed with the gift of love for Mother, there is no need for much struggles in sadhana.

DIVINE MOTHER SAYS NO. 11A
Awake. You are of the Eternal, the manifestations of God, the embodiments of Divine Shakti, born to glorify the power of the soul and the mercy of the Supreme. Live in the consciousness of this divine mission. Every one of you has a mission in life. Dedicate yourselves and you will know what your mission is. It is not that one knows the mission and then only begins to work. First dedicate yourselves to the Divine and then work without selfishness, and by and by, you will know the mission in life.

DIVINE MOTHER SAYS NO. 11
Knowledge, jnana, is already there, it is only to be unveiled. Bhakti, love for God, is the special gift of God. Pray for this boon only. There is nothing sweeter than love, nothing higher than love, nothing mightier than love. The omnipotence of God is in His love for creation. Take away the idea of love, and God won’t be with you, intimate in relationship. He becomes the unknown, dwelling in the region transcending the mind, commanding no more your love, admitting no more any prayer or supplication for grace.

DIVINE MOTHER SAYS NO. 10B
Do not dissipate your energy in aimless discussion. Develop the power of unity and manifest your spiritual force in egoless actions and selfless aspirations. Seek the unerring guidance of the Divine Mother by devout meditation.
