Egoism does not allow you to see your own faults. Faults and shortcomings are present in all. But you must know your mistakes, admit them frankly, pray fervently and persevere earnestly so that they may not be repeated. Courage is required to admit ones own mistakes. There is no disgrace in admitting your errors, however great they may be. But if you do not realize your failure or do not admit it even after knowing it, then it becomes a veil and a knot within yourself obstructing your inward journey to the Higher Self.
